Colonel Adam Sinclair

Adam Sinclair was a Colonel in the United States Army before paying the way for his family to enter the Retreat. He was granted the position as the commander of the Guardians simply due to the fact he was the highest ranking and most experienced military officer within the Retreat. During the chaos of the first decade in the Retreat, Sinclair took drastic action in cracking down on dissent against the new laws laid down by the first Overseer. Behind closed doors, Sinclair has been regarded by many as a tyrant ever since. Regardless of his heavy handedness, Sinclair has managed to maintain order within the Retreat for over three decades.
