Isaac is a large aging man with a black beard and glasses. He’s usually seen wearing a white shirt, black vest, and black slacks. Isaac is loved and respected by the people of The Hub for his even-temperedness and wisdom. He’s also known to be a very persuasive man and drives a very good bargain when there’s something the community needs done. He is one of the few “true survivors”, those who witnessed the apocalypse first hand and lived to tell of it. Although Isaac enjoys regaling anyone who will listen about life before The Fall, Isaac speaks little about the event itself, nor his travels that brought him to The Hub. It’s known he had a large family before the Fall – no more. Although he’s far from the oldest resident of The Hub, since his arrival some fourteen years ago and rapid rise to the position of “Boss Man”, Isaac has instituted many changes that have seen the Hub grow and thrive while many other settlements have fallen to the Brotherhood. Some of these changes include the creation of the Guard, establishing several small farming settlements beyond The Hub to ensure sufficient safe food supply, expanding trade and communication between settlements and even monitoring the movements/attacks of the Brotherhood. Although it’s known that Isaac has a network of contacts and maintains communication with many of the other settlements no-one knows exactly how he does it.
